This post is going to be all about how to style the guy in your life's clothes.
For this you can steal your boyfriend's, brother's, friend's, and basically anyones clothes.
I will be showing you four different ways I styled different clothing pieces.
I hope you enjoy!
Look Number One:
jacket: stole from James (he says its from American Girl Ready For Fun Meet Outfit 2004)
slip dress: a Josefina Fashionista creation
shoes: American Girl Sweet Sugar Outfit 2010
I put my hair up in a sock bun for this look in order for the jacket to be the focus of this outfit.
Here's some of the details of this look.
here's a little close up of the dress and jacket
a little headshot for you :) I'm kidding I like how the jacket looks.
Look Number Two:
long sleeve shirt: again I stole from James (he says it's from American Girl as a Cyber Monday deal)
skirt: Josefina Fashionista creation
shoes: (not shown but they're the same as look one)
hair: I put it in a high ponytail and had a scrap of fabric from the skirt left over so I created a hair bow
Here's a few details
here's my hair bow
Look Number Three:
this look is less formal version of look number two
shirt: stole from James (it's from American Girl Cargo Outfit 2000)
skirt: Josefina Fashionista creation
shoes: American Girl Sweet Sugar Outfit 2010
hair: in a high ponytail with a hair bow
here's a few details
I tucked the shirt in to have the focus on the skirt
Tip: Bright green backgrounds complement floral patterns very well.
Look Number Four:
At the end of this shoot I decided I needed to do a look with pants so here's a little vintage inspired look
shirt: Stole from James (American Girl Cyber Monday Deal)
Jeans: Stole from James (American Girl Place Exclusive)
I cuffed the jeans to give them a more feminine look
shoes: American Girl Sweet Sugar Sweater 2010
hair: high pony
neck scarf: I took my hair bow from before looks and tied it around my neck to give a more vintage feel
Here's some details

here's a full outfit shot
and since I decided to do this outfit last minute I didn't have these pants in my bag, James so graciously lent them to me as long as I gave him my outfit. So I would like to give a huge shoutout to James who can rock a floral skirt better than anyone I know, letting me steal the clothes literally off his back, and taking this amazing shoot for me.
Doesn't he just look darling?
(August just said I'm not supposed to use darling when describing James but I'm going to do it anyway.)
Thank you all for reading! I hope you enjoyed this post. It was so much fun to put all these looks together!
Bye Bye for now- Josie and James
